Job Description
Immaculate Heart of Mary School located in Baltimore County, Maryland is seeking a full-time Middle School Math Teacher for the 2020 - 2021 school year. This is an in–person teaching opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and document weekly lesson plans and labs consistent with curriculum guidelines
- Provide grade appropriate instructional program within the content of the Archdiocesan Math Curriculum
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management
- Implement lessons utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge and engage students
- Establish reasonable standards for student achievement, updating PowerSchool grade book weekly
- Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional empathetic and timely manner
Job Requirements
- Degree in Elementary or Secondary Education with a concentration in math
- Current MSDE certification
- Experience in a Catholic School setting is preferred
- Must be comfortable with technology to include G Suite for Education (including Google Classroom), Smartboards, Chromebooks
- Must have a commitment to Catholic School education.
