Teacher, Middle School Math in Elkridge, Maryland at The Archdiocese of Baltimore

St. Augustine Catholic School, located in Howard County, Maryland is seeking candidates for the position of middle school Math teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. As part of our collaborative middle school team, responsibilities include teaching assigned mathematics classes and another discipline selected by the Principal. This is an in-person teaching opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study and state standards.
• Provides grade appropriate extended or enrichment opportunities.
• Uses relevant technology to support/enhance instruction for both in-person and remote learners.
• Maintains appropriate control through positive discipline techniques to enhance the learning environment.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Performs assigned duties when needed for the supervision of students before, during or after school including lunch duties, recess duties, dismissal duties, detention and any other duties assigned by the administration.
• Participates in faculty meetings, school committees, student activities and in-service learning opportunities.
• Attends school events including Back to School Nights, Open Houses, Parent/Teacher conference days, and other events as requested by the administration.
