St. Joseph Parish located in Cockeysville, MD seeks an experienced, energetic Administrative Assistant to provide full-time support to the Leadership Team of this flourishing parish.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Will oversee and manage the parish database and digital calendar.
  • Coordination of the Parish Volunteers.
  • Provide support to pastoral staff members.
  • Post weekly offertory in parish software create and maintain Sacramental records.
  • Support the ministry of welcoming and hospitality to new parishioners and visitors.
  • Screens and prioritizes mail and phone calls.
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Oversight of the flow of paperwork in the parish office.

Job Requirements

  • Database Management experience
  • Proficient in Word and Access
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Willingness to learn
