Job Description

St. Ursula School, located in Parkville, Baltimore County is looking for a Tuition Coordinator.  St. Ursula School is a large  PreK -Grade 8 Catholic school with over 600 students.  The tuition coordinator is the school liaison in the receipt of tuition payments both online and in person from parents, and other entities.  In addition the coordinator would collect and record all fees (instructional and other), fundraising, and oversee the record and retention of service hours.  This is a twelve month position that includes full time hours 37.5 during the school year and 20.0 hours during the designated summer schedule.  All hours will be assigned by the Principal or her designee.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for collection of all fees, including, but not limited to tuition, instructional fees, extended day and fundraising
  • Maintain up-to-date information on all unpaid billed fees, notifying parents through various means as well as administration as required
  • Create a sub ledger of all fees structures
  • Record service hours and send bi-yearly bills for incomplete hours
  • Count and record all monies which enter the school daily. Scan all checks submitted to the school and serve as one of the staff members who deposit monies collected
  • Serve as a liaison to parents and the various tuition assistance committees/groups
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • BA or BS degree preferred in area of finance or management
  • Knowledge of the FACTS tuition/payment system
  • Prior experience working in a school system preferred
  • Ability to support the vision and mission of St. Ursula School
