Job Description

We are searching for a Regional School Technology Coordinator to directly support technology in assigned schools. If you enjoy technology, solving puzzles, and working in collaboration with others, this could be the position for you.

In this role, you will work with the Director of Educational Technology to ensure school technology initiatives are aligned with Best Practices for Educational Technology. You will manage school infrastructure - including wireless Networks and wired Networks, ISP, Firewall, Content Filtering, etc. Serving as the subject matter expert for technology, you'll maintain the inventory and operational status of end user devices and maintain monthly technology reports for inventory, warranty, spending, performance, maintenance and hardware decommissioning. In keeping with the Archdiocesan Policy for the Protection of Children, you will also have the important job of managing school networks and devices to ensure compliance with Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA), Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and E-Rate requirements. Other duties may be assigned as well.

Job Requirements

You are the ideal candidate if you possess:

  • a Bachelor's degree with concentration in Education/Information Technology preferred.
  • a familiarity with current educational technologies including; iPads, Chromebooks, MS Windows Computer, 3-D printers, and interactive whiteboards.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Evidence of leadership and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of current trends in technology and instructional technology.
  • An acceptance of and support for the Catholic Schools philosophy, goals and objectives.          
  • the ability to travel to school locations throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
