Job Description

We are seeking a College Campus  and Young Adult Minister to serve the community of Frostburg State University, in Frostburg, MD.

Frostburg University is a thriving student-centered teaching and learning institution with an enrollment of 5,700 students.  As the College Campus and Young Adult Minister, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and direction of a comprehensive campus ministry program for the students of FSU.  You will develop outreach and support for students, faculty, and staff who are active, passive, and/or disengaged in their Catholic faith throughout the university, including faculty and staff, as well as the collegiate and young adult parishioners of the Divine Mercy Parish. In this faith-fulfilling role, your additional responsibilities will include building and growing a young adult community of faith who learn and grow deep friendships with each other on the FSU campus, pastorally responding to student needs, and overseeing student programs and activities. 

Job Requirements

To be considered 'best qualified', you must be a practicing Catholic in good standing possessing a strong working knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Catholic faith, with a desire and ability to relate to others of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and all walks of life. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution, preferably in Theology, Religious Studies, or related field is required for this position. Some prior experience in a leadership capacity in Campus Ministry or Young Adult Ministry is preferred. Experience in social media and digital communication is essential to your success in this role.
