Job Description

St. Mary’s Annapolis Roman Catholic Congregation is seeking a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. St. Mary's is a large and complex organization including two schools, St. Mary's Church in downtown Annapolis, and St. John Neumann Church, with a combined operating budget of $18M.

This position is responsible for administration and support of the operations and administrative processes for the Parish, including but not limited to: short-term and strategic planning; finance and accounting; advancement; communications; facilities management and operations of all physical plant facilities; human resources; procurement; internal and external relations; and IT.

 

Job Requirements

Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or acceptable equivalent education and experience

Seven to ten years of successful experience in a similar position

Knowledge of, and ability to support, the mission of the Catholic Church

Understanding of GAAP

Demonstrated competency in: financial management of a complex operation; strategic thinking; communication with people from all walks of life; leadership and management; problem solving; decision-making; and personal credibility and ethics.
